Hi, I'm Safia Judd, a graphic designer from Leicester UK. I never set out to make Islamic art. My journey started from a place of mistakes, sin, and searching. Art became something that distracted me, something therapeutic, and over time it turned into a way of reconnecting with myself, with my faith, with God.
All of my pieces are created digitally through graphic design, a skill I’ve taught myself over the past 5 years. I first turned to design because of depression, it gave me an outlet for my pain. What began as therapy grew into a passion, and eventually I took up a Master’s in Graphic Design.
Now I work in film and TV as a graphic designer, creating pitch decks, key art, and other cinematic visuals, with a strong focus on horror and bold storytelling. Alongside that, this body of Islamic art allows me to express another side of myself , one rooted in faith and reflection.
I share my work not to sell it, but to put these verses out into the world in a modern, visual way. If even one person pauses on a design and reflects on the words, then it’s worth it.
